Ceremonies have accompanied humanity since ancestral times. They invite us to pause, honor the moments that transform life, and welcome a new beginning with presence, intention, and gratitude.
At Casa Corazón de Viento we share ceremonies inspired by the Andean worldview, adapted to the story and purpose of each person, couple, or group. Every gathering is born from deep respect for tradition and nature.
Ayni, the principle of reciprocity that guides Andean philosophy, inspires the way we accompany these processes: to give thanks for what we receive, to offer from the heart, and thus walk in harmony with the Earth.
More than a ritual, each ceremony is an invitation to remember that we are part of the Earth, and that every new step can be lived with awareness, reciprocity, and deep respect for life.

Andean Wedding
An ancestral ceremony of union inspired by the Q'ero tradition of Peru. Through despachos and offerings to the Earth, the invocation of the Apus, the guardians of the peoples, and ceremonial symbols such as the woven sash, the couple honors and blesses their paths as they celebrate the beginning of a new cycle together. A ritual held by the wisdom of Andean tradition and the strength of the spiritual lineage that accompanies the union of two souls, where love, reciprocity, and the bond with the Earth become the heart of the celebration.Andean Baptisms
A beautiful and powerful welcome ritual that celebrates the arrival of a new life or a new “self” one wishes to integrate—strengthening family bonds and connection with community and nature. Sacred river water carrying ancestral memories is used, along with meaningful Andean herbs for the ceremony, retamo flower, white and red rose petals, rosemary, lavender, honey, and quartz, among others.Cacao Ceremony
A subtle and deep ceremony inspired by ancestral Mayan tradition. Guided by the drumbeat and cacao, we open a space of presence that invites the mind to quiet, intuition to awaken, and the heart to open deeply. The cacao we share is 100% pure and of ceremonial origin, from communities in Peru and Mexico. It is prepared with intention, respect, and gratitude, honoring the tradition that recognizes it as a plant of encounter and connection.Coca Leaf Reading
In the Andean worldview, the coca leaf is considered a sacred plant and a great counselor. Its reading is a practice of deep listening that allows us to receive guidance, understand the moment we are living, and restore balance in our relationship with the Earth, with others, and with ourselves. Each reading is a respectful encounter with a living tradition, transmitted from generation to generation by Andean peoples.Traditional Andean Despacho
The Despacho is a sacred ceremony of gratitude and reciprocity rooted in the Q'ero lineage of the high Andes. In this individual or community ritual, participants create a mandala of flowers, coca leaves, and symbolic offerings, which is then burned in the sacred fire or buried. The Despacho becomes an expression of ayni—sacred reciprocity—an exchange between us, the Apus (mountain spirits), and Mother Earth herself. By weaving the bundle and offering it ceremonially, participants are invited to release pain or burdens, clarify their intentions, and reconnect with a deeper sense of harmony and belonging.Energetic Cleansings
A ceremonial practice of pre-Columbian tradition that uses medicinal plants, palo santo, copal, and condor feathers to accompany a process of personal harmonization and renewal. As a closing of the ritual, the person offers flowers to Pachamama—an act of gratitude that symbolizes releasing what they wish to transform and the commitment to walk a new cycle in greater balance with the Earth and with life.
